SI PIRENA AT LIRA

Gurna is being held by two hathors when Hagorn arrives. Asval greets him. Hagorn asks about the prisoners. Asval has already taken the necessary precautions and readied troops in case Amihan attempts a rescue.

Hagorn turns to Gurna and mockingly thanks her for if not for her, Pirena wouldn’t have been captured. Gurna then asks if she can have her freedom, which she exchanged for information on Pirena. Hagorn refuses. He knows that if he lets Gurna go, she’ll just find a way to free Pirena.

The three sanggres arrive at Sapiro. After and exchange of greetings, Amihan tells Ybrahim the bad news. He springs to action, and asks for Amihan’s and Aquil’s help in rescuing his daughter.

Inside the Lirean dungeons, Lira is calling Anthony’s name. Pirena overhears and asks who Anthony is. Pirena chides Lira when she becomes happy to see her.

Pirena: Kalokohan! (Madness!!!)
Lira: Kalokohan bang sundan si Mira? (Is it madness to follow Mira?)
Pirena: Nasaan ang aking anak? (Where's my daughter?)
Lira: Ewan ko, nakatakas ata... (I dunno. I think she managed to escape...)
Pirena: (smirks) Mas matalino talaga sayo si Mira… (She really is smarter than you..)

Pirena insists that she doesn’t need Lira’s help. Lira insists that they have to help each other. Pirena ponders for a moment, then tells Lira that she figured out that Hagorn will ask for Amihan’s jewel in exchange for her life.

Wantuk is walking in the forest with the scroll in his right pocket. He and Apek discuss the events going on between Mira, Lira, and Anthony. Apek pities Lira’s plight, not knowing the love of her life is in enca and her kin conspiring against her (re: Amihan, Alena, Danaya).

He pulls out the scroll and begins to look at it. Apek comes nearer and looks at it as well. Neither understand a word of it. Cass appears a fair distance behind them and smiles as she sees the parchment.

In the mortal realm amidst blinding rain, the three are unconscious as Mira closes the portal. She then takes out the green bottle and sprinkles the contents over the them. She chants a spell, telling them to forget all that they saw and experienced in enca.

Yolanda, who was taking out the trash, sees the three and asks why they’re there, telling them that Carmen has been worried sick. After a few more arguments, Yolanda bids the three to come inside the house.

Lira and Pirena continue to argue, with Lira insisting that Amihan should never give up her jewel for the greater good and Pirena telling Lira that she’s just like her mother.

(This isn’t the precise dialogue, merely rough estimates of what the characters said)

Pirena: Mana ka sa Ashti danaya mo. Matigas ang kalooban maliban na lamang pagdating sa mga mahal sa buhay (You take after your Ashti Danaya. Hard-headed except when it comes to her loved ones)
Lira: Mabuti na yung ganito, di tulad ng iba diyan. Kayang magmatigas kahit sa mga mahal sa buhay. (I'd rather be like this than like other people who remain stubborn, even with their loved ones)

In the mortal world, Mira throws away the medallion in the garden while hoping that Lira, her mom, and all of enca forgive her for what she‘s done

Amihan and the rest of the sanggres are preparing for their rescue mission when Asval orbs in front of them. Amihan guesses that they want her jewel. Asval corrects her, saying that they need all 3 remaining gems in exchange for both Lira and Pirena. Danaya is shocked to hear that Pirena is also being held. He repeats the ransom note even as Ybrahim and Aquil hold swords against his throat (slime ball, grabeng magdemand).

After Asval orbs out, Amihan declares her intention to give up her jewel, much to the chagrin of both Danaya and Alena.

The three mortals are having their much-needed supper when Yolanda briefly mentions enca. Anthony and Manang Rosing flare up, insisting that enca isn’t real. Apparently they really have forgotten everything about enca.

Lira is still struggling when Pirena scolds her, saying that whatever they do they can’t escape. Lira is answering back when Gurna enters the dungeon/tunnel comes beats up the lone Hathor guard. While freeing Pirena, Gurna asks forgiveness, promising to make up for her mistake.

Pirena is free and is being pulled by Gurna when Lira pleads for them to free her. Pirena hesitates, and seems to want to free Lira when Gurna butts in, saying that Hagorn would prefer having her there. Faced with time and the urgency of Gurna’s words, Pirena orbs out with Gurna, leaving Lira behind.

Inside Sapiro, Danaya, Alena, and Ybrahim (well, mostly Ybrahim and Danaya) are arguing about Amihan’s decision. The two sisters are adamant about refusing to give the jewel. It would mean the end of their race and of enca. Ybrahim argues that the jewel is still recoverable, but Lira’s life can’t be taken back. Aquil enters, and Ybrahim asks where Amihan is. Aquil doesn’t know, saying that he was bringing the queen to her to her room when she orbed out. Danaya begins to panic.

In the mortal realm, they are still talking about how the three ended up missing and coming back all at the same time when Mira arrives (looking quite fabulous in a white halter top and a denim mini skirt )

Just as Lira begins to lose hope, Pirena and Gurna orb back. She’s extremely glad…

Lira: Konting pray-over nalang matatanggal na yang evil spirit sa katawan mo!!!
Pirena: Hindi tulong ito. Isipin mo nalang na paunang bayad yan sa pagtulong mo sa akin noon.

Lira is gazing fondly at her Ashti. Gurna gives her a nasty, jealous look as Pirena orbs them out.

Amihan arrives at the palace. As soon as the coast is clear, she calls Area, who resents being treated like a servant. Amihan pleads with Area to help in finding Lira. They both orb out.

Hagorn is pacing outside the palace when Asval comes and tells him the good news. Hagorn chuckles mockingly, saying that Lira is all it takes for them to give the jewels.

All of a sudden Pirena appears behind him, takes the Kabilan and slashes him down to the ground.
Just before the final blow is struck, Gurna appears and shouts at Pirena to stop. Pirena asks why.

Gurna: Dahil siya ang ama mo!!! (Because he's your father!!)
Pirena: Anong siya ang aking ama?!?!?!?! (What do you mean he's my father?!?!?!)

Asval, meanwhile, is frozen in place (probably contemplating his next move) as he looks on.
