NANG MASILO SI LIRA

Lira wakes up from Hitano’s slap, tied to a piece of wood. Hagorn confronts her and curses are exchanged. Hagorn can’t understand some of her vocabulary but he senses that they can’t be good. Lira tries to orb, but cant. Hagorn then arrogantly proceeds to instruct her in the nuances of her orbing powers. Hagorn leaves her to Hitano, who approaches with obviously foul intent.

Meanwhile, Area is standing in the middle of a pool (posing?) when she sees Mira. They exchange pleasantries and Area tells her that Amihan sent her to find and bring them to Sapiro. Area notices that Lira isn’t with her. Mira tells Area that Lira was captured by Bandok et al. and is now being held captive.

Area reacts, mockingly asks if Mira did nothing. Mira relies that she lost her power and couldn’t do anything. Area tries to get Mira to come with her but the latter refused, saying she has more important matters to attend to. Area is surprised and puzzled, but lets her go.

Back in Sapiro, Aquil is in the middle of nursing his wound when Ybrahim arrives. The former warrior sees him. Aquil takes his sword and pretends to clean it. Ybrahim approves, saying that their weapons must always be ready. Aquil agrees and adds:

“Hindi lang ang armas kundi pati ang ating sarili (not only our weapons, but also ourselves). Lahat tayo ay may tadhanang dapat tuparin. Anuman ang kapalit. (We all have destinies to fulfill. No matter what the cost)”

Ybrahim goes off to search for Mira and Lira. Aquil attends to his wound while looking at him.

Mira arrives and sees whom she came for: Cass, who is kneeled and seems to be communing with nature. Cass tells her that the people she is looking for are still where she last saw them.

Cass adds that they are dying and that enca is not for mortals. Mira says she must bring them back to the mortal realm but Anthony will always yearn for Lira. Cass asks about the potion. Mira unhappily tells her that Anthony didn’t drink it.

Mira says that Lira and Anthony must never meet, and that Lira is needed in enca more than her. She implores Cass to help her. Cass gives Mira a pink/purplish bottle of something and a green bottle of powder, saying that the stuffs will make the three forget all their experiences in enca.

As payment, Cass asks for the scroll that Anthony has with him, adding that it is important to both her and enca. She instructs Mira to leave the scroll behind when she brings the three back to the mortal realm.

In Lireo, Hagorn is writing something (I wonder what) when he senses someone approaching from behind. It is Gurna carrying a dagger (idiot…). Gurna attempts to stab Hagorn in the back but the Hathorian King catches her and calls for backup. Asval and Bandok come and he instructs them to behead Gurna outside the palace. Gurna pleads for her life.

Anthony wakes up with a nosebleed. He sloppily wipes off the blood and wakes the two up. He tells them that they must find shelter for the night. Manang Rosing sees his bleeding nose and worries her head off. The three try to find food as Banjo is already weak from hunger.

The three see Mira approach, with Banjo warning against her. Anthony trusts her and asks if she found Milagros, adding that they area also looking for Sapiro. Mira denies it, asking why they are looking for the kingdom. Anthony shows her the necklace, imploring her to bring them there.

Mira tries to dissuade them, with both Banjo and Manang Rosing agreeing. Anthony remains adamant, telling her to take Manang Rosing and Banjo back if she wants to, but not him. Left with no choice, Mira sprays them with the sleeping powder Cass gave.

In the Lirean dungeons, Lira struggles, but Hitano tells her it is futile. A heated argument ensues between them until Hitano loses it and slaps her. Lira vows that death isn’t enough to make Hitano and Hagorn pay for what they did and that she, her mother and ashtis will have their vengeance. Hitano shuts her up with a blow to the stomach.

Amihan walks up to Area who is standing atop a rock near the falls. Area reports that she didn’t see Lira but met Mira and from her heard bad news. Amihan asks. Area hesitates but Amihan senses that the news is about Lira. Area reports what happened to Lira. The three sanggres are shocked, Amihan in disbelief.

In Lireo, an expectant Pirena hears Gurna’s call and inquires what happened. “Gurna” brandishes the Fire Jewel. Pirena starts to approach when Asval and Axilom come and hold her captive.

Back in the falls, Amihan asks where Mira is. Area knows nothing. Amihan is all pumped up and ready to go a-rescuing when both Alena and Danaya stop her, saying that the enemy probably has something planned and they need to be patient and think about their actions (maganda sana ang exchange nila dito especially Amihan’s dialogue but my recorder is on the blink). They can’t afford to lose both her and Lira. They need a plan.

Apek and Wantuk are walking (probably foraging for berries or firewood) when they spot several figures. It is Mira searching the three unconscious mortal. Mira finds the scroll on Anthony and throws it a fair distance away. Apek and Wantuk approach and pick up the scroll. (Not sure about this part, basta ang alam ko lang kinuha nina Wantuk yung scroll).

Pirena is still struggling against Asval and Bandok. She curses Asval, calling him every insult imaginable and finishes with a spitball. “Gurna” apologizes to Pirena as the Sapiryans take her away. “Gurna” then transforms into Hagorn, who agonizes over what he has once more done to his beloved daughter.

In Sapiro, Ybrahim is inspecting his kantao when Aquil comes in and asks what he’s looking at the bracelet for. Ybrahim replies that he is wondering at the sort of powers his kantao is still hiding, so much that someone would want to steal it.

Aquil sits down next to him, replying that perhaps for the mysterious attacker, gaining the kantao would be for the good of all, and that he (ninja) won’t stop until he gets it. Ybrahim, sensing something fishy in Aquil’s words, looks at the captain of the royal guard suspiciously.

Back in the Lirean dungeons, a defiant Pirena is stunned to see a bound and unconscious Lira. Hitano boasts that Lira couldn’t handle his tortures, causing her to end up like that. Pirena loses it and screams that they will taste Amihan’s bitter revenge for what they did to her daughter.

Asval retorts that they are ready for anything Amihan can come up with, adding that it was only a matter of time before all the elemental jewels are in their hands.

After Asval leaves, Pirena looks at Lira with surprising concern and affection. (Awww, I loved this part!!!!!!! )
