ANG PAGSUBOK NINA HAGORN AT LIRA

Lira and Wahid reach the mountain and are searching for Evades when they come to a huge tree with dazzling and sumptuous-looking fruit. Lira asks wahid what they will do when all of a sudden Evades enters and asks them why they are in his territory and who sent them. When Lira replies, Evades doesn’t believe her, saying that Cass has long been dead and threatens to bury them. Lira shows him the gold Cass gave him as proof. Evades begins to examine the gold.

In limbo, Hagorn continues to convince Arde, saying that the Fire Jewel is crucial in maintaining the balance in encantadia. Arde finally concedes and tells him to acquire the Fire Jewel from Pirena’s consciousness (diwa) while it is still on its way to Devas. Hagorn asks Arde if Pirena will end up in Balaak. To which he answers:

“Walang puwang ang isang sanggre sa balaak”.

Hagorn asks how he will get to Pirena. Arde says he must find a way in which only his diwa can get through.

Back in the mountain, Evades finally believes Lira and Wahid then (I’m not sure if I saw this correctly) throws away the gold that Cass gave. Evades then asks the purpose of their “visit” Wahid quips that they came to consult with him. Lira adds that Sanggre Pirena is dead, giving the same reason that Hagorn gave Arde. Evades says that he can help them, but only under one condition: If they correctly answer his riddle. Lira accepts the challenge.

The conversation continues in limbo. Hagorn asks Arde the details of the method that he mentioned. Arde explains that Hagorn must separate his body from his diwa, and it can only be done through a dream. But he must hurry for the once Pirena’s sisters complete the ritual for sending her to Devas is complete, any hope of acquiring the jewel will be gone. Arde also warned Hagorn that if he fails to get Pirena’s jewel, it will also cost him his life.

At the tribe of the Ajantao, Agimat and the others are escaping with Ybrahim. The bald guy (I don’t remember his name) apologizes to Ybrahim for doubting him. Ybrahim accepts then turns to Agimat, saying that they (the Ascano and the Ajantao) have already lent them their fastest pashnea, that is enough. He says now must follow his daughter for Lira needs him. Bald guy asks what else can they do to help. Ybrahim asks them to wish him and his daughter luck.

In Lireo, Wantuk asks Apek where Gurna is. Cut to the area where the sanggres are still completing the rituals for Pirena’s departure to Devas (I wont say burial, cause she’s not gonna be buried). Mira asks Amihan if they aren’t gonna wait for Ybrahim and Lira. Amihan says they cant. Alena cuts in and suggests calling Alipato, the gabay-diwa (GD) of the Fire Jewel. Amihan replies that the GDs depend on their jewel-keepers. If the keeper dies, then the GDs will disappear as well. A slightly outraged Alena cuts in and asks Amihan: Are you just going to let this world go into chaos?

Amihan then turns to Danaya and asks her to summon the GDs of light (liwanag) (GDLs) to guide and bring Pirena to Devas. Danaya complies and brings out her jewel.

Back in limbo, Hagorn prepares for the ritual, kneeling down beside a rock and when Arde approaches and tells Hagorn that he doesn’t know if the sisters are also planning to revive Pirena, adding that only one jewel/element gone is equal to chaos (delubyo). Hagorn says he will never allow her sisters to bring Pirena back. Arde agrees, reminding Hagorn that he wont be able to keep his promise if Hagorn fails. He then approaches a kneeling Hagorn, puts his hand over the Hathorian King’s head and chants:

“Medesta us librano…”

Back in the mountain of the Ajantao, Evades asks Lira if she’s ready. Lira begins to boast, saying bugtungan was her favorite game as a kid. Evades then sings:

“Kung ang tubig ay katumbas nito umaagos, ang hangin ay Malaya, ang apoy ay maalab, Aano naman ang katumbas ng lupa?”

Lira gives an faulty answer. Evades warns her the she only gets three guesses and iIf she fails, she wont get the cure and Pirena can never come back. Lira is stunned. Wahid tells her to be careful.

In her den in the woods, Cass is looking into her prophetic cauldron, then looks up to several Agodo (green glowing frogs) and orders them to shoo away the GDLs exclaiming that Pirena should never reach Devas.

Back in Lireo, Danaya summons the GDLs and and tells them to bring Pirena to Devas. The GDLs glow, don’t follow her command, and leave. Apek and Wantuk enter and ask them to step outside.

The two lead the sisters to the main doorway of the Sapiryan palace. They see several Agodo. Alena asks if they are preventing Pirena’s departure. Amihan declares that she knows of only one person who can send the Agodo. Danaya asks her who and she answers:

“Si Cassiopeia”

Danaya says she had a strong feeling it was Cassiopeia. Aquil pipes up, asking why Cassiopeia sent them and what does she want to say.

Back in the riddle session, Evades begins to mock Lira, saying that they might not be able to answer his riddle before Pirena goes to Devas. Lira panics, asks Wahid for help. Wahid says he came up with an answer, but fears that it might be wrong. Lira asks him to give it a try:

“Halaman?”

Evades hollers mockingly, calling Wahid “higanteng may utak langgm” Wahid gets violent and draws his sword while threatening to cut off Evades’ roots until Lira stops him. He offers to challenge Evades to a drinking duel, but Evades says he doesn’t accept any other challenge except for riddles.

Back in limbo, Hitano looks at Hagorn and asks Arde what’s happening to his master. Arde replies that Hagorn is currently willing his diwa to go to where Pirena is. Hitano asks what will happen if Hagorn fails. Arde says that he already warned Hagorn about the the consequences if he fails. Hitano surmises that Hagorn will die, which Arde affirms.

Hit backs away from Hagorn, hoping for Hagorn’s death so that he can take over. Arde, reading his mind, reveals that if Hagorn fails and dies, so will his followers (The guy read Hitano’s mind!! Belaaattt!!!! ).

Wahid and Lira are still wringing their heads for the answer. Wahid, sensing hunger from several hours of intense meditation (which I surmise he doesn’t like do too often) tries to pick a fruit from Evades’ tree but the druid loses it and hurls an energy ball at him. Evades asks Lira if she gives up. Lira replies that they still have one more guess.

In limbo, Pirena’s diwa, lying on an elevated marble slab and surrounded by an invisible barrier, is on it’s way to Devas (…ganda ni Pirena talaga…). Hagorn appears and is walking through what seems to be a field made of fire-wheat. He sees Pirena’s diwa and approaches it while calling out her name. Hagorn approaches the diwa from the head side and hesitates when he felt the presence of the shield.

Back in the mountain, Lira recites the riddle, trying to figure out the answer. Suddenly her face lights up.

"Nilalang!!!"

Cut back to the dream. Hagorn sees Pirena’s diwa, black butterflies floating around her. He approaches the invisible barrier and tries to put his hand through it, smirking as he succeeds. He walks through the shield and walks along the left side toward her feet, as though thinking of his next move. He then turns around to face her.

Back in the mountain, Lira prods Evades, expecting him to say that that her guess was right. Evades says she’s wrong.

“Buhay ang tamang sagot.”

Beginning to panic, Lira begs Evades for another riddle. Evades refuses and tells them to leave, saying that he cant give what they want.

Back in limbo, Hagorn approaches and walks up the right side of the diwa. He sits near the diwa’s head , lifts and lovingly cradles it in his forearms. With his right hand he caresses the diwa’s right cheek, laughing an evil laugh. *shudder* (This guy is soo good)…
