Episode 8: Asnamon

When Pirena has commanded the tree of Asnamon to open and show her the worst place in the mortal world, she went thru the portal. Muyak followed her. Then two drunken men saw her and thought that they were seeing things and called Pirena a "weirdo". Insulted, Pirena hurled fire at the two men and they quickly scampered away. Then, she heard a strange sound and followed the source of that sound. She quickly put Lira in the train tracks and left. Unknown to her, Muyak followed but she grew up in size and became intangible. She is still there but can't be heard or seen, because she's a pixie. Just as the train was about the hit Lira and Muyak screaming that a strange, big monster with a frightening roar is upon them, along cames Dado who quickly picks up the child and saves her from ceratin death. Muyak realizes too late that the portal has been closed and that she and Lira can't go home.

Hitano challenges Ybarro to a duel and for a moment, Ybarro seems to have the upper hand. But Hitano pulled a fast one and stabbed Ybarro in the back with a dagger. He then tells his pals that it isn't he that killed Ybarro but the Hathors. When Alena felt that Ybarro has left him, she was disraught and immediately went out. She found Hitano and his men and asked what had happened and they told her that the Hathors came back and they killed Ybarro. They presented his sword as proof and Alena couldn't believe it, calling Hitano a liar.

Danaya was looking for Muyak and a chamber maid said that she saw Muyakk heading out of the palace. Amihan and company went out to look for her and found Pirena instead emerging from the tree of Asnamon. When asked by Aquil what was she doing there, she simply said that she wanted to know the world where Amihan came from. Aquil didn't trust her and so did Danaya. Again, Pirena offered her apology to Amihan and Amihan accepted it. Then, Aquil told Amihan that she must close the portal so that Pirena couldn't use it anymore and she asked him how. Aquil told her to use the powers that Minea gave to her. She did so, not only ensuring that no one else could use the tree but also effectively leaving Muyak and Lira in the mortal world for good. She heard Muyak's screams but Aquil dismissed it.

Gurna tells Pirena of Ybarro's death by Hitano and asked if all went well. Pirena said yes and that there's no need to worry about Lira. She also thinks that Ybarro is far from dead and laughs at the idea that her sister is in love with a warrior and not a fellow Sang'gre. She then goes to Adamya and asks Imao as to why Minea left the tree of Asnamon open all this time. Imao said that Minea loved Raquim with all her heart and that she felt that Raquim is still alive and that he might come back to her one day. Pirena also asks if a diwata can also be killed in the mortal world and Imao said that just as they can be killed in the land of Encantadia, they too can be killed in the mortal world as well. Imao then asked her why does she want to know all this and she said "Nothing" and "Thank you very much." and left. Imao was puzzled.

In the palace, Alena was grieving about Ybarro's "supposed" death and Amihan asked her if the reason she was sad was because of Muyak's absence. She was rather surprised to hear this and said that Ybarro's "death" is what troubles her deeply. Amihan then asks if this "Ybarro" is indeed real and Alena said "Yes". Amihan asked her what Ybarro's stature in life is and she repiled that he's a common warrior. Danaya was rather "relieved" to hear this.

Back at the mortal world, Dado brought back the baby to his wife and she hated the idea of him bringing a baby for she thought that it was from one of mistresses, Dado swore to high heavens that he has changed and that he really loves her and that she will be by her side, no matter what. Muyak swore to Lira that she will always be by her side no matter what until the time comes for them to finally go home to Encantadia.

Danaya was telling Amihan that if Ybarro didn't die then they wouldn't have found out who he really is and that his "death" is a source of relief for them and Alena. When Amihan asked her as to why this is a source of relief, Danaya explains to Amihan that a Sang'gre should only marry his/her kind and no one else and that if Ybarro were still alive, Alena will be severely punished for disobedience to the law.

Meanwhile, Hitano and his pal went back to the palace. His firend told Hitano that he shouldn't have lied to Alena like that and it pains him to see her grieve. Hitano reasons out that it's for her own good and that she'll get over it. His friend then asks if he doesn't feel pity at all for Alena for having killed Ybarro. Hitano angrily tells his friend to shut up and that he shouldn't spread "lies" and that the Hathors "killed" Ybarro and that's the story that they're sticking to. Pirena again overheard all this and was rather amused to find out that Hitano has a hidden "dark" side.

At the mortal world, Dado feeds the baby and after she has slept resumes to his work. He was surprised to find his wife chit chatting with a fellow neighbor and asked why is she out there and who will take care of the chils. She nonchalantly replied " Who cares?" Dado's house then lit up in flames and Muyak was screaming for help, even though no one could hear her.

Back at the palace, Amihan heard someone screaming in her dream and that she felt that her baby was gone. Danaya says that the baby is fine and asks for a chambermaid to bring the baby. Then just as Amihan was carrying the baby, a shot of flame went forth from it's mouth and Amihan was taken aback. Danaya told Amihan that how could "Lira" have the gift of fire, just like Pirena.

Unknown to Hitano and Alena, Ybarro is still alive and rises up from the river that he fell into. [source]
