Episode 4: Departure

On the way down, Amihan was saved by the white hooded figure, who turns out to be Inang Reyna. Pirena appears, and grabs the key from the hooded figure. When she presents it later on, she was told that she got the wrong item. It was not the 'key' that they were supposed to get, it was Inang Reyna's heart of a mother (or something to that effect). Amihan was the one who figured this out, hence, she wins the crown.

Enraged, Pirena challenges Inang Reyna to a duel and, as explained by Aquil, the challenge of a Sang'gre could never be refused. The Queen has no choice but to accept it. Unbeknownst to them, Pirena takes on the form of Aquil and steals the Gem of Fire.

Meanwhile, Ybarro stalks Alena despite warnings from his buddies and his realization that she is of royal blood and way out of his league. He manages to get into her rooms and what follows is a cat-and-mouse game. He challenges her; if she wins, he will leave. If he wins, she is his. He wins, he asks for a kiss, but she calls for guards. However, he's gone when the guards arrived.

At the duel, Pirena almost beats the Queen, but her three sisters stepped in, bringing her down. Feeling utterly betrayed, Pirena cuts all ties to her sisters, her mother and the kingdom of Lireo and vows to return one day to claim Encantadia as her own. She disappears.

At Hathorn, Pirena arrives and wonders how Hagorn knew her. She then hands him the Gem of Fire, kindles the lost flame of the Hathorias, and joins forces with Hagorn to bring down Inang Reyna and Lireo. [source]
