Ang Pagsugod ng mga Diwata

The teaser is again shown in full. (My recorders still on the blink so these are merely snippets. AND I’M NOT REALLY SURE ABOUT THE NAMES OF THE THREE WARRIORS.HEHEHE…)

Cass voice-over with several transition shots (i didnt catch their sequence, so i just separated the descriptions from the voice-over:

A warrior cloaked with a moss-green cape approaches a tiny altar. His armor is frighteningly similar to the Kalasag Ybrahim uses. The warrior opens a large, intricately carved box placed on top and looks at the contents.

May mga pwersang hindi nalalabanan. (there are forces that cant be stopped)

May mga sumpa na hindi mapipigilan, mga sikretong mabubunyag. (there are curses that cant be prevented, secrets that will be revealed)

Doon sa gitna ng encantadia, sa lugar na di kayang abutin ng tanaw, lihim sa mga encantado, may kakaibang pintuan. (there, in the midst of enca, in a place hidden from the naked eye and unknown to encantados, lies a peculiar door)

Zooming in to the bare middle area of the encantadian map.

Isang lagusan tungo sa isang nasirang kaharian. (It is a passageway to a lost kingdom)

The voice over continues with a top shot of three warriors walking along a wood clearing: Mavus, a Lirean soldier; Xeno, a Sapirian warrior; and Eldrin, a Hathorian (probably a noble, as he is able to speak properly).

Mga kawal ng tatlong kaharian na may banal na layunin. (three warriors of the three kingdoms with a sacred duty)

Mavus complains of boredom, saying he’s tired of walking around aimlessly for thousands of years, waiting for disaster to strike. Xeno reasons out that they were the ones tasked to guard the future, as he gestures toward what looks like a colossal version of one of the medallions of Asnamon converted to a gate.

Xeno continues, saying that they must prevent anyone from passing through the gate so that peace may continue to reign in enca. They must remain vigilant. Mavus loses it, saying that he’s tired of it all, making special mention of Eldrin’s body odor.

Eldrin reacts violently and points his sword menacingly at Mavus when the gate suddenly spins rapidly. Yellow lightning emanates from the gate, then a liquid-like vortex appears, covering the gateway (this scene was so cool, I was frozen for minutes).

From behind the vortex, two red-cloaked, gold-masked figures walk into place, positioning themselves on either side of the doorway like bodyguards. Then another, apparently their master, walks to the center. It seems that these three were what the three champions were guarding. Both sides get ready for the confrontation.

Cass voice-over: Ito na ba ang sumpang nagbabanta sa enca? (Is this the threat to enca?)

She then brings our attention back to Sapiro, where Danaya was almost fooled into giving her jewel to Hagorn (disguised as a wounded Aquil). Danaya shouts at Hagorn, telling him the jig is up. Sensing failure, "Aquil" orbs out, leaving the real Aquil and Danaya to argue.

While Aquil says he’s happy that Danaya was able to avoid danger, Danaya retorts that his leaving was the reason why crystal was almost stolen. She proceeds to interrogate him, asking where he’s been and why he took so long to come back.

Aquil: Mayroon akong ginagawa para mabalik ang Lireo (I’m doing something to take back Lireo)

Cut to the mortal realm, Lira breaks herself from Yolanda’s embrace and hurries to leave when Anthony walks in (or rather out) and sees her (I wondered why he isn’t calling the police at this point, Lira is obviously a stranger who’s not only trespassing, but is also dressed for battle).

Intrigued by Aquil’s words and probably secretly worrying for his safety, Danaya asks Aquil about the methods he’s using and why he has to be gone for such a long time. Aquil apologizes, but he cant tell. He then walks off, leaving Danaya upset and mystified.

Anthony starts to ask Lira but she walks away, but then leaves abruptly (NANI???). Yolanda turns and asks Anthony if he doesn’t remember Mila at all. He seems to have known her from before, but cant remember when or where they met.

In Lireo, an injured "Aquil" orbs in, shapeshifts to Hagorn and stumbles on the throne steps, hurting from his self-inflicted wound and extremely weakened from shapeshifting. Agane sees him and rushes to his aid. He tells her of his failure as she lightly scolds him for using his taxing ability yet again as she accompanies the warlord to his room.

Seeing what transpired, Asval and Hitano enter and conclude that they must take action to help Hagorn take the remaining jewels.

Lira is about to open the portal when Anthony calls her (now, here is where I get confused. One scene they’re together, next Yolanda is asking Anthony why he doesn’t know Mila, then the next scene Lira is back at the garden again. Nani??). He asks her if Mila is really her name. Surprised, Mila asks if he doesn’t know her at all (Di mo na ba ako kilala?). He confirms it, and we can almost hear Lira’s heart break. Anthony is asking who she is and what’s she doing in his house when he spies the rolled-up parchment in her hands.

In Sapiro, Amihan is pacing back and forth in anger, saying that Hagorn is just giving them more reason to strike back, and with Aquil’s return, they can now launch a counterattack. Alena disagrees, saying that Lira still hasn’t returned. Amihan argues that with the delays, they’re just giving Hagorn a chance to get what he wants.

Aquil tries to dissuade Amihan as well, but Danaya answers in anger, asking why does it seem like he doesn’t want to win the war (not sure about this, sorry). Amihan loses her patience and mockingly tells Aquil to stay and guard the keep if he wants to. They’ll bring Muros in his place.

While Aquil silently regrets his decision, Danaya gives him a last nasty look before joining her sisters in preparation for battle. Wantuk hands Amihan her sword while Apek gives Alena her spear. The three of them, Ybrahim and Muros orb out in a rainbow swirl of colors.

In the mortal realm, Mila takes the parchment and gives it to Anthony, thinking aloud why he possesses such a scroll (she knows the language is in enchanta). When Anthony’s expression changes, Lira catches herself and says a friend saw him carry it so she assumed its his. Her expression then changes to one of deep, thoughtful sadness. She bids Anthony to always love and take care of Mira. As she rushes off to open the vortex, she takes one last look at Anthony, who is now thoroughly confused (what’s new?) .

Near the brook, Pirena worries about Gurna’s wound. Gurna assures her that it will heal eventually. Pirena reminds her about the herb that she supposedly used, offering to get it for Gurna. A panicked Gurna stutters and makes up a lame excuse about the herb being gone. All too quickly she assures Pirena that she’ll soon be good as new. Pirena wonders privately if Gurna is telling the truth about who healed her.

In Lireo, Asval et al. are preparing for an attack on Lireo when the sanggres orb in. After a stinging exchange of greetings between Amihan and Asval, the battle begins. Ybrahim goes after Axilom with his round hand blades while Danaya is fighting with Bandok. Alena and Muros are handling one and two hathors, respectively while Amihan and Asval face off. The others are doing fine as Amihan manages to knock Asval off balance.

Inside the mansion, Anthony is inspecting the parchment, trying to decipher the meaning of the strange glyphs written on it. He then remembers back when he first acquired it, remembering the names Raquim and Amihan (apparently selective ang memory charm na ginamit ni Mira, lahat lang ng tungkol sa enca. Pero I wonder, bakit natatandaan pa niya yung parchment at si Mira mismo?).

Mira, who has just entered the room, is alarmed to see the parchment in his hands. She instinctively asks him where he got it and who gave it to him. His answer and subsequent question unsettles her even more: how come the entire household knows who Mila is, but he doesn’t?

Mira tries to dismiss the issue, saying that Mila is just an ordinaryong being, a maid employed by their neighbor and that they shouldn’t talk about her as she’s not there with them.

Inside Hagorn’s room, Agane is still fussing over a seated Hagorn when Hitano enters and warns him of the battle outside. Agane tells Hagorn that this is his chance to make up for his earlier failure. Hagorn gets pumped up and orders everyone to battle.

Outside, the sanggres have the three dogs (Asval et al.) cornered. Hagorn comes out just as the diwatas are about enter the palace. Amihan orders him to surrender, saying that his forces are weakening. Hagorn laughs boisterously, and reminds Amihan that he still has the Fire Jewel, which he brandishes. He then quickly hurls a fireball at them.

The sanggres scatter, with Danaya summoning an uber-cool-looking shield around her. Amihan and Hagorn face off using their powers. Amid the confusion, Ybrahim (at least, I think it was Ybrahim) grabs Asval. Amihan sees this and orders a quick retreat (HA!!! BELAATTT!!!! BUTI NGA SAYO ).

Back in Sapiro, Imaw seems to be putting together a magical potion inside a mortal and pestle, when he exclaims:

Imaw: Malapit ko nang makuha ang sikreto ni Lira sa pagluto ng sinigang!!!! (Ha!!! A little bit more, and I will soon discover Lira’s secret in making sinigang!!!).

Suddenly, Pirena orbs in, and Imaw poises for an attack. She quickly assures the old Adamyan, saying that she only came there to borrow his staff as she needs to make sure of something in her past. Imaw smartly refuses to hand it over and instead asks her what she wants to know. She wants to know who really healed her. (This sanggre is so smart, alam niya ang kapangyarihan at gamit ng isang "rewind"). Imaw shows her: The scene with Lira and Danaya plays out.

The impact of the shock forces Pirena to sit down. She reels in the discovery, then becomes fuming mad as she realizes that Gurna lied to her (I’m so going to love tonight’s epi).

Back in the "secret garden," the three-on-three battle is still on, with Mavus shouting out their vow never to let enca fall into the hands of the Etherians.

"Sumumpa kaming hinding hindi mapupunta sa kamay ng mga Etherian ang Encantadia!!!!"

Mavus faces off with the leader of the three Etherians while Xeno(?) and Eldrin take on the two red-cloaked minions. And despite their very agile fighting moves, only the master managed to overpower his enemy. He wounds Mavus on the left arm (why do they always do that?), then sends a bolt of yellow lighting from his hand to stun the two other champions.

The two minions approach their master, who casually hands his sword over to one of them while merely glancing at a wounded and weak Mavus. He then suddenly turns around holding the same intricately carved box seen in the teasers in his hands. The three Etherians then leave while the three fallen champions are left powerless and defeated. They then look at the open door, and a sense of dark foreboding fills the air. (The tension is so thick you could cut through it with a knife, really.)
