Kabanata 78: Ang Misyon ni Lira

In Adamya. Imaw tries Lira's cooking and was surprised to find her soup delicious. Lira tell Imaw that its called 'sinigang' in the mortal world where she came from. She told him that they lack some ingredients but was able to find substitute for most of them. Suddenly Kahlil enters the kitchen. Lira, surprised to see Kahlil, back away from Kahlil and ask him who he is.

In Lireo. Pirena back away from Asval and ask him to go away but Asval approach and tell her that he is there so that he can watch how lovely she is. Pirena ask Asval if he knew he could be punished for what he is doing. Asval answered that he would gladly welcome any punishment as long as he can show her his love. Pirena, shocked, asks Asval, 'Love?'. Asval approach Pirena, who have backed into a post of her bed and can't, and answered her yes love. Asval gives Pirena a menacing stares while she cringe under his stares. Asval, deciding he have done enough 'seducing'(if you can call if that) for the night, tell Pirena that he had enough of her beauty for the night and he would go. Asval says goodbye to Pirena calling her the queen of his heart and teleported away. Pirena, relaxing upon seeing him gone, was left by Asval in deep thought.

In the forest. Banak, Nakba and Danaya are walking in the forest when Cassopeia stop them in their tracks. Banak and Nakba almost jump in fright. Danaya, tense, ask Cassopeia who she is. Cassopeia asks Danaya if she doesn't remember her. Danaya look at her closely and saw that it was 'Mata'. Cassopeia tell Danaya that she must return to Adamya at once for the forces of Pirena is attacking it. Danaya, suddenly worried, order Banak and Nakba to rush after her and hurriedly leave to return to Adamya.

In Adamya. Lira asks Kahlil, who burst from the door, what he is doing there and who he is. Kahlil just stares at her, fascinated and enchanted. Imaw, alarmed, order Lira not to approach Kahlil for he might be one of Pirena's men. Kahlil turn around and points his sword at Imaw. Lira grab Kahlil's arm and tell him that she's Lira and his name is Imaw and his a friend. Kahlil repeats Lira and Imaw's name. Lira in a soft voice asks him who he is and its just one in a blue moon she was able to meet someone with a 'blondie hair'. Suddenly from outside, Amihan rushes inside and call out to Mira. Kahlil turn around to see who's coming and stop Amihan by pointing the blade of his sword at Amihan's throat.

Outside. Adama stand over Aquil and menacingly brandish his sword at him. Adama prepares to thrust his sword into Aquil when Danaya suddenly appears and blow him away from Aquil.

Inside Imaw's hut. Lira stop Kahlil again and tell him not to hurt Amihan for she's her 'Ina'. Kahlil look at Amihan and murmur 'Ina'. Amihan stares at Kahlil, feeling an unexplainable feeling he stirs inside her. Suddenly Kahlil push Amihan away and run for the door. Lira tried to run after him but Amihan stop her. Lira, staring after Kahlil, asks her mother if she knew who he is.

Outside. Adama, picking up himself, saw Kahlil come out of the hut. Adama then asks Kahlil if Lira is already dead. Kahlil answered that Lira still alive. Danaya, hearing Kahlil's words, rush him and attack. Kahlil deftly blocked Danaya's attack. Danaya, fuming mad, asks what he does to her niece. Kahlil did not answered and instead attack Danaya. Danaya trade blows with Kahlil but he saw an opening and launch a kick that hit Danaya squarely. Danaya was thrown back by the kick. Adama seeing their chance to escape shouted for Kahlil to retreat. Adama runs away while Kahlil follow him from behind.

Asval tell Abug(nythunter: char name check please!) that soon Pirena would soon fall into his hand. One of his men asks him what would happen if she will fall in love with him. Asval answered that it would be the start of her fall. Suddenly, from the corner of their eyes they saw a sword standing from a distance. Asval, curious, approach the sword and tried to pick it up but reeled back when a punch was landed on his face. Kalasag appears and face Asval and his men. Surprised, Asval and Abug readies to fight Kalasag. Kalasag tenses for a fight.

In Adamya. Danaya approach Aquil and worriedly asked if he's just okay. Aquil answered that she should not worry for all he got was just a flesh wound. Amihan rushing towards them, kneels beside Aquil upon seeing him wounded. Amihan then asks Danaya who she is staring after. Danaya answered that she staring after a man with golden hair. Amihan tell Danaya that she saw him too and when she did she felt a stirring within her. Danaya asks Amihan what is it she feels. Seeing there's many people within earshots, Amihan stands and order everyone to prepare clean water to use for Aquil. Everybody get busy and Lira leave to fetch water. Amihan, alone with Danaya and Aquil, tell Danaya that she doesn't want to tell her with Lira listening but looking at Kahlil, she saw Ybrahim in him. Danaya, shocked, asks if she's talking about Lira's father. Amihan nods and confide to Danaya that she can't explain it but she feels something for Kahlil. Danaya answered that she did feel it to. Amihan wonders where could Pirena might have found him.

In the forest. Asval asks the mysterious warrior who he is. Kalasag stays silent. Without warning, Abug attack Kalasag but Kalasag skillfully block his attack and sent him sprawling in the ground. Asval, seeing Abug down, attack Kalasag and landed a few hits. Kalasag pick up his sword and trade blows with Asval. Suddenly Asval caught Kalasag's sword and twist it making Kalasag lose his grip on the sword. Asval smiles menacingly at Kalasag thinking of his advantage.

Lira, Muros, Apek and Wantuk arrived at the waterfall to fetch water. Muros tell Lira to fetch water while he, Wantuk and Apek would stand watch. Lira proceed to fetch water but Wantuk, stubbornly reprimand Muros for ordering a sang'gre. Muros look down at Wantuk menacingly making him back off and pick a spot and stand watch. Lira bent and fetch water from the fall and caught the beautiful flower and look at it fascinated. She mumbles how sweet is its scent and reach over to touch it but Cassopeia, bursting from the trees, shout at her and stop her from touching the flower. Lira, surprised, turn around to look at Cassopeia. Apek and Wantuk, bursting into action rush to attack Cassopeia but she stop them with a single blow of energy blast that knock them off their feet. Muros was left standing, staring at the fearful apparition. Cassopeia then approach Lira and grab her and tell her to come with her. Lira tries to break her grip and ask Cassopeia where's she taking her. Cassopeia tell her that she meant her no harm but she need to come with her for a talk. Muros, coming out of his trance, rush Cassopeia to help Lira but he was knock off his feet as well with a single blast from Cassopeia. Wantuk, on his feet, cowers and plead Cassopeia not to him again. Cassopeia pull Lira and teleported away. Muros, Apek and Wantuk rush to stop them but they were gone. Wantuk slumps to the ground afraid what Amihan would do to them and blaming Muros and accusing him that its all his fault.

In the forest. Asval look at Kalasag smiling cause Kalasag just lose his sword. Suddenly, Kalasag bring out a pair of knuckle blades. A furious scuffle between Kalasag and Asval leave Asval face down to the ground. Hathors, bursting into the battleground, attack Kalasag but deftly using his knuckle blades he kill all of them leaving one Hathor. Picking up his sword, Kalasag kill the remaining Hathors with a single critical blow. Asval, coming to, stares in shock upong seeing the Kalasag's style of fighting. Asval, standing up, stares at Kalasag. Suddenly, a surge of energy leave Asval and Kalasag down on their knees in the ground. Kalasag leave Asval after recovering from the dilemma. Abug, helping Asval up, asks him why he is suddenly afraid of Kalasag. Asval, remembering Raquim, answered that he know of only man with such a move but he was long dead. Abug ask him who is it. Asval answered that the man he's talking about is Raquim of Sapiro.

In Lireo. Kahlil enter Pirena's chamber and hug her at once calling her 'Ina' while Adama silently enter. Pirena asks Kahlil where is the body of Lira and Amihan. Kahlil repeats Lira's name, in all innocence. Pirena asks Kahlil again if he did what she ordered him to do. Kahlil stares at her silently. Pirena then asks Adama if Kahlil did what she order him to do. Adama, looking at Kahlil in anger, answered that Kahlil had all the chances in the world to finish both Amihan and Lira but he did nothing. Hearing Lira's name, Kahlil excitedly tell Pirena that he saw Lira and she's as beautiful as Pirena.

In Adamya. Aquil flinch as he holds his wounds. Amihan check him up and tell Danaya that his wounds are deep. Danaya, annoyed, asks Aquil why he tell her a moment ago that its just flesh wound. Aquli, fighting the pain, asks Danaya if she would just scold him or heal him. Danaya summons the gem of Earth and heal Aquil. Aquil feel his wounds healing and thank Danaya for it.

In Lireo. Gurna asks Pirena if she would punish Kahlil for not obeying her orders. Pirena answered that she would not punish him but would see if Adama's just passing the fault at Kahlil. Pirena then uses Imaw's cane and order it to show her what happened. The cane glows and show Pirena how Kahlil meet Lira and Amihan. Pirena smiles and mumbles that the 'lukso ng dugo'(nythunter: so sorry i tried to translate but every word i came out doesn't sem right) really is powerful. Gurna, hearing Pirena murmur, asks what is she talking about. Pirena scold Gurna and tell her to not mind business that doesn't concern her.

In Adamya. Amihan try to convince everyone that they should leave at once for she's sure Pirena's men would return for she would never stop until she have killed her, Danaya and Lira. Imaw, sullen, tell Amihan that if only his cane weren't gone then he would be able to help and they would be able to know what are Pirena's plan. He tell Amihan that they must get his cane back from Pirena. Imaw, sullenly tell Amihan that he's just sad he could not do anything. Suddenly Muros with Apek and Wantuk arrive. Wantuk, without a word, prostrate himself in front of Amihan and plead innocence. Amihan, confused, asks what happened. Muros, telling the bad news, reports that a diwata with pointed ears have just taken Lira. Danaya, hearing Muros description, blurted out that it must be 'Mata'.

At Cassopeia's lair. Cassopeia and Lira arrives. Lira, afraid and worried, asks Cassopeia what she need from and what she is doing there. Cassopeia answered that she would not harm her. Lira look at Cassopeia and asks her who she is. Cassopeia answered that she is know as the 'Mata ng Encantadia' and that she have been waiting for her return for a long, long time.

In Adamya. Amihan, sickly worried, asks Danaya who 'Mata' is. Danaya answered that 'Mata' is an ancient diwata that leave in the forest. Amihan asks Danaya what reasong could 'Mata' have for taking Lira. Danaya, confused as well, answered that she sees none. Amihan, agitated, tell Danaya that they must not waste a minute in getting back Lira.

In her lair, Cassopeia tell Lira that she did everything in her power to manipulate things so that she, Lira, can return to encnatadia. Lira, confused, asks her why she did it. Cassopeia welcome and tell her she's the saviour. Lira, ridiculing Cassopeia, asks if she's the saviour. Cassopeia answered that yes she is the saviour that they have been waiting for. Lira, still confused, asks Cassopeia how did it come. Cassopeia answered that a journey she would take would reavel all. Lira asks what journey. Cassopeia answered she would take a journey to Devas.

In Adamya. Imaw approached a sulking Muros. Muros, seeing Imaw, tell him that he wish they would soon found Lira. Imaw tell him that everything that is happening is with guidance from Bathala. Muros tell Imaw that he's just worried that Lira might never be found like Alena. Imaw tell Muros to stop worrying for Alena might be hiding herself on her own will. Imaw tell Muros that with his cane they would have known what is happening. Imaw tell him that they should really get his cane from Pirena(nythunter: i really wonder when did he know Pirena got his cane. maybe he just put 2 and 2 together. hehehe).

At Cassopeia's lair. Lira tell Cassopeia that she once of Devas and asks why she needs to go there. Cassopeia answered that she saw Lira as the one to go to Devas and meet Mine-a, the queen mother of the four sang'gres. Lira thinks of what she said and lighten up when she surmised that Mine-a's her grandmother, for she's the mother of her mother. Cassopeia tell Lira that Mine-a know her and her real story. Lira asks Cassopeia if she sees Mine-a would she be able to help her save Encntadia. Cassopeia answered that Mine-a would be able to help her. Lira, stubborn, asks why she realy have to go to Devas. Cassopeia tell her that only through her journey to Devas would peace reign in Encantadia.

In Lireo. Kahlil sits in his bed, thinking, when 'Lira' enter the room. 'Lira' call Kahlil's attention. Kahlil turn around, surprised to see 'Lira' inside his room. 'Lira' approach Kahlil and tell him that she's there to save her. Kahlil look at her. Suddenly, 'Lira' brandish a stick and start hitting Kahlil, who cowers while 'Lira' hit and curse him.

In the mortal world. Mira sit happily in her room, mumbling that she knows Anthony would listen to her for all she wants is to help him. Suddenly she remembers Encantadia and wonders what might be happening to the world she leave behind. She decides to visit Encantadia and starts to look for the medallion. She takes the box out and look for it but wasn't able to find the pouch bag where she put it.

In Lireo. 'Lira' continue beating Kahlil while Kahlil, not understanding what's happening, is starting to get mad. Kahlil anger suddenly burst and face 'Lira'. 'Lira' back away, suddenly afraid upon seeing the anger in Kahlil's eyes. Kahlil starts punching the best and shouting in anger that he would kill 'Lira'. 'Lira' suddenly disappears and Pirena comes inside the room. Pirena hugs the still raging Kahlil and asks him what is he doing. Kahlil, still fuming mad, tell her that he would kill Lira. Pirena smiles triumphantly.
